1. EFFECTIVENESS

When installed, the STOP- PTAK module system forms a barrier effectively preventing the birds from roosting and nesting in places where their presence is particularly unwanted for various reasons, and at the same time it does not injure them but only deters them and restrict their access to selected places.

2. DURABILITY

The STOP- PTAK modules are composed of elastic acid-resistant steel rods mounted on colourless, rigid base made of polycarbonate with higher durability and high resistance to solar radiation, atmospheric conditions and low and high temperatures. We offer a 3-year guarantee on our products.  

3. DISCRETION

The STOP- PTAK modules can be installed on cornices, ledges and sills, window rims, roof edges, verge trims, sculptures, projecting architectonic elements and in all other places. As the STOP-PTAK modules consist of thin matt rod and a transparent base which takes on the colour of the surface to which it is glued, they blend in optically with each surrounding, thanks to which they are hardly noticeable from the distance of a dozen of so meters.

4. RELIABILITY

The STOP- PTAK system modules can be easily installed on all kinds of surfaces (after careful cleaning and degreasing), such as concrete, brick, stone, wood, roof paper, sheet brass, galvanized sheet, by gluing them with a top-quality construction adhesive (we recommend SOUDAL products).

5. EFFICIENCY

We install the STOP- PTAK modules only where it is really necessary, it’s enough to protect places which are the most likely to be infested by birds, from where they could foul facades of the buildings, usually cornices, ledges and sills, and roof edges. Sometimes it is worth protecting also other projecting elements such as air-conditioners, advertisement boards, flood lights, alarms, etc. 

6. COMFORTABLE INSTALLATION

When carrying out installation works we recommend to use light aluminium ladders or abseiling techniques. This guarantees an easy access to prepare the surface carefully and to install the STOP- PTAK elements even in the least accessible places without the need to use expensive conventional scaffoldings or bucket elevators. However, when needed, we also use other methods. 

7. SAFETY

The installed modules are completely safe for both the users (they are installed outside buildings) and the birds (metal elements have blunt tips).
